Our private fishing lodge sleeps up to 20 people and offers the best fishing experience on Cahora Bassa. Tigerfish are the main fish of interest, but our favourite spots are home to all species, including but not limited to Vundu, Bream, Cornish Jack, Bottlenose, and various others.

A shuttle service from Tete-Lake-Return is included, as well as the boat transfer from the lakeside to the island camp.
Guiding
Your guide comes with a boat + 20l of fuel per day / 80l for 4 days of fishing. If you use more fuel than that, you simply pay for what you use.

We have everything in camp and will do our best to arrange your preferred beverages if it is not usually kept in camp. You may bring in 2 bottles of spirits each..
Tips
Tips are made solely at your discretion, although our camp standard is R100 per person per day.
Transportation
Air, Road and Boat transfers are available. Please confirm group size before expecting a quote.
Fishing license
Sometimes the officials are not at the park entrance, so this fee does not always apply!

How to get there
Vinho, Tete Province, Mozambique
Road transfers are available from Tete International Airport to the South Bank of the dam, thereafter a 20 minute boat transfer to the island is necessary and refreshments on ice are guaranteed! Air Charters to the dam are available at certain times of the year. There is secure parking is available at the boat transfer collection point should you choose to drive in yourself!
Book with 50% deposit
Once the lodge confirms your trip, your credit card will be charged with a 50% deposit to guarantee the reservation.
Pay remaining balance to the manager
The remaining balance will be paid directly to the lodge up to 30 days before the trip.
